Pleasure Desk for Mark

I have been working on a little sketch competition to create a pleasure desk for a well known colleague who is to conclude soon his numerous years of famous lectures and turn them into book volumes. In his original debates on numerous architectural topics was how we relate, evolve and subconsciously react to the world that surrounds us and how these relations may effect our ever changing bodies and recognitions of the world. Architecture, often close to hierarchies and power, elaborates on meeting of people and materialities while producing corners and edges at which we brush off so often. Desks on the other hand while utilitarian in its nature often beg for sources of pleasure. This desk finds some delicious edges to brush off at while questioning straight edge adaptability to different ways of one’s working while being at the desk.mark plan view betterMark table persp viewMark table front pers viewMark table front view 2Mark table side view
