With hydraulic energy and the agricultural mechanics, the displacement of burdens remains in the 18th century a major technical problem. The artist who realised here a heavy manoeuvre did not leave a masterpiece of elegance. This model, which is part of unattributed objects, identifies payments in the collections under the Revolution and the Empire.
